    Description

You are looking at a set of three vintage coming attraction movie posters for the Midland Theatre that was in Valley View, PA.
The first is a 1948 poster showing upcoming movies: The Return of Wildfire, She Couldn't Take it, Along the Oregon Trail, Chickens Come Home (Laurel and Hardy), Adventures of Don Juan (Errol Flynn), Up in Central Park, Tarzan's New York Adventure, Rose of Washington Square, When My Baby Smiles at Me, & Road House. There is pencil writing on the ad for Along the Oregon Trail. There are no tears.
The second (blue) is from 1947 and includes the movies: Last Days of Boot Hill, The Thirteenth Hour, Escape Me never (Erroll Flynn,Ida Lupino), How Green Was My Valley, Slave Girl (Yvonne Decarlo).  There is water damage and staining on the top and lower left corner of the poster.
The third (tan) is also from 1947 and includes the movies: On The Old Spanish Trail (Roy Rogers), The Unsuspected, Caged Fury, Wistful Widow of Wagon Gap (Abbott & Costello). There is a scrape at the O in On toward the top. There are a few 1/2 inch tears along and some bending on the left hand side.
Overall for the age of the pieces and the fact that they are on cardboard the are in great shape and would look awesome framed in someone's home theater or mancave.
