DISNEY PINOCCHIO RARE LOBBY CARD WITH CREW LIST
1940
I purchased this wonderful Pinocchio piece at a Chicago auction in October of 1990. It is dated 1940 (in roman numerals) by Walt Disney Productions. It also says Technicolor Distributed by Buena Vista Distribution Co., Running Time 88 mins.
The front is a beautiful full color image of Pinocchio and the rest of the wonderful characters. Even little Figaro and Cleo are there! (see photos)
On the back are 4 wonderful black & white images from the film: Pinocchio before he comes to life with Jiminy Cricket standing by, The whale about to swallow their boat, Pinocchio with the two bad guys, and Pinocchio with Stramboli.
Also on the back - and my favorite thing about this lobby card - is that along with the beautiful animation images, it lists the entire crew! Everyone from the supervising, sequence, and animation directors, to story adaptation, character design, music + lyrics, art direction and more!
Dimensions are approx. 8.5" X 11" Nice condition overall with a very tiny faint stain on the lower left corner. (See photo #2)
