Description
1930 Mercedes Benz Stuttgart 260 Cabriolet C. This Stunning Mercedes was purchased by my Father In Law while stationed in Germany as an Air Force Medic early 1950's and he brought it to the states and titled it in NC in 1955. He and my Mother In Law drove it around Germany while there and it was shipped from there to NY and they then drove it down to NC where it was used very little and mainly in storage for the next 30 years. He had a friend restore the car in Whiteville NC and kept it for 8 years from mid 80's to early 1990's. again after restoration it mainly set in storage being driven very rarely. I took it out for him in 2008 and serviced it again and minor repairs and it was driven a couple time's in parades and such and in storage again until 2018 which I have been the caretaker since then until present. This Beautiful Mercedes is now stored in a climate controlled warehouse and run's drive's and shift's as it should. I have many family photo's to document the history as well. One family owned car for nearly 70 years with a 2.6L 6 cylinder engine and a 3 speed manual transmission. I have been in the car/auction business all my life - 2nd generation and have never seen another Mercedes like this one in person and haven't found any examples that have sold in the US and have only found a few photos online of any like it over seas. This is a unique opportunity to own a very rare and beautiful Investment quality Mercedes with a nearly 70 year one family owned documented history.History:
